Can you believe that September begins next week? Despite the strange year we've all had, this new month brings us even closer to a moment many of us have been waiting for... the Grand Opening of the Garden Gateway.

Everywhere you look around the project, it feels as if everything is really falling into place - and it's exciting. This week, instead of our photo update, we want to set our sights on the Grand Opening. We've set up a page with the same information on our standard website and we will update it regularly as we approach the events.

• Friday, October 16 - Donors Celebration Gala (Invitation only)

• Saturday, October 17 - Volunteer, Staff and Construction Crew Receptions (Invitation Only)

• Sunday, October 18 - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony (Invitation Only)

• Sunday, October 18 - Kingwood Members Only Day (Pre-registration required - click here to register now!)

Public Grand Opening Week:

Experience something new every day of Grand Opening Week! The Gateway Café and Garden & Gift Shop will have specials all week for you to enjoy! 

• Monday, October 19 - Making Memories Monday

• Create lasting memories with fun photo ops throughout the Gardens

• Take home a commemorative photo thanks to Mid Ohio Photo Booth

• Tuesday, October 20 - Tours on Tuesday

• Enjoy complimentary guided tours by Kingwood Staff and Volunteers

• Wednesday, October 21 - Wellness Wednesday with OhioHealth

• Join us with partner, OhioHealth, to enjoy healthy activities for the whole family

• Thursday, October 22 - Tours on Thursday

• Enjoy complimentary guided tours by Kingwood Staff and Volunteers

• Friday, October 23 - Fine Arts Friday

• Local artists will display their art and create beautiful pieces around Kingwood 

• Saturday and Sunday, October 24-25 - Fall Artisan Market

• Shop local artisan goods, treats, and more! Ferris, the Food Truck by Buehler’s, will be on site serving up fall favorites
